Pat Symonds can look back on a long career in formula 1. The 65-Year-old worked at the beginning of the 1980s, for the first time in the Premier class and was last seen in the 2016 season for Williams active. Over the years, the British engineer has worked in formula 1 with drivers like Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and Ayrton Senna.
In an Interview with the ‘F1 Racing’ speaks Symonds about his time with Schumacher at Benetton in the 90s, and reveals, among other things, who was the record-breaking world champion in his setting of the similar. “Mark was a fitness fanatic,” says Symonds, who was at Benetton once “Schumis” race engineer and, later, in the same Team with test pilot Webber worked together.
